The Goal: "24x7 Learning" |
Bible, Book, and Film Study Groups"Anytime, Anywhere" Studies
Form a group of people to study and share around the Bible, books, and films, without time or space limitations. We call it "24x7" learning. Leader-Based or Community-Based Studies
Establish a leader who has special privileges: define study content and topics; post commentary and questions to a Leader section; moderate discussion; conclude studies. Or create a community-led study that enables participants to share leadership equally within the study.
Private Security or Public Visibility
Structure your study in one of two ways:
Online Bible-Related Resources in One Place
Access an online Bible and view other resources from within the study area. Identity or Anonymity
You have the option of posting comments and questions anonymously if desired. This can be useful for new attendees to ease into a new group "safely," or for anyone who is worried about "looking uniformed" by asking a basic question. Anonymous posting can be disabled when setting up a Study. Online Availability of Participants
Even though OneFaithPlace enables you to interact productively with your group asynchronously, it is handy to know when someone else is online studying at the same time. You are able to see the real-time online status of all fellow participants automatically within the study area. Organization by Scripture Passage, Theme or Frequency
Sometimes you will organize your study by particular passages of Scripture; other times you will do so by a theme (e.g., love, poverty, money, etc.); or you may define it by frequency. OneFaithPlace enables all of these constructs, giving you tremendous flexibility in publicizing the studies and in searching/finding studies to join. |
